Our story
It started around a campfire.
On a family camping trip, somewhere between roasting marshmallows and watching the stars, we started asking a simple question: how could we make camping more comfortable without losing what makes it special?
We loved being outdoors, but we found ourselves packing gear into bins, loading the car, organizing supplies, and setting up a tent every time we headed out. We wanted a simpler way. A place where everything had its home and was always ready for the next adventure.
So we built something different.
A camper that keeps everything organized in one place. A camper that fits in a standard garage, so you don't need off-site storage during the winter. A camper that's light enough to tow with most vehicles and compact enough to go almost anywhere.
Most importantly, it's designed to make getting outdoors easier, spending less time setting up, so you can spend more time around the campfire, on the trail, or under the stars.

Every Nutshell Camper is built one at a time, not mass-produced.
To maintain our quality standards and attention to detail, production is scheduled through a reservation list. A deposit secures your place in the queue, and each camper is built specifically for its owner.
Current build times typically range from 10 to 14 weeks, depending on the season and production schedule.
